Martha "Marti" Fay Burleson

Martha "Marti" Fay Burleson (McCallister) was born November 12, 1950, and went to meet her Heavenly Father on August 17, 2024, at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was 73.

Marti was beloved by all who met her. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved her church family, Living Waters Baptist Church, and was always so happy when she was worshiping with them.

Marti is survived her husband Ben Burleson of Beckley WV, her two daughters Missy Burleson and Mandy Burleson of Beckley WV, her stepson Mark Terry (and spouse Jessica) of Nashville TN, her twin sister Sandy Gilkerson (and spouse Gene) of Beckley WV, her sister Mary Lou Haley of Hinton WV, her sister Carol Smith (and spouse Cliff) of Teays Valley WV, her brother Don McCallister (and spouse Joann) of Beckley WV, her brother Buddy McCallister (and spouse Peggy) of Beckley WV, her brother-in-law Timmy Burleson of Wilmington NC, her mother-in-law Ruby Burleson of Wilmington NC, and so many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Marti was preceded in death by her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Mann, her mother and father Mr. and Mrs. McCallister, her sister Dreama McCallister.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Aug 24, 2024, at Living Waters Baptist Church, 201 Jennings St, in Beckley, WV from 2-pm-4pm.
