Matthew Aaron Lilly

Matthew Aaron Lilly, age 36, of Princewick, WV passed away on Thursday, January  25, 2024 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Born on June 26, 1987 in Bluefield, he was the son of the late Leslie Lilly and Betty Karen Bolen  Lilly.

Matt, as he was known by his family and friends, was a former employee of Walmart and was a former security guard.

He enjoyed spending time with his wife and children.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by uncles Roy McKinney and Jimmy Lilly; by aunt Oma McKinney; a nephew Leonard Lilly.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife Courtney Mills Lilly; three sons Hunter Lilly, Thomas Lilly and Emmett Lilly, all at home; a grandson, Luca James Halstead;  a sister Angela Lilly of Lillybrook; three brothers Jason Lilly of Beckley, Tommy Lilly of Sophia, and Leslie Lilly Jr. of Princewick.

Several nieces and nephews also survive.
