Michael Jay Blankenship

Michael Jay Blankenship, age 51, of  Odd, WV passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024.

Born on May 23, 1972 in Beckley, he was the son of Nadine Blankenship Belcher and Terry Keith Belcher of Odd, WV.

Mike aka "Paycheck" was a building  construction worker. He loved building things, farming and fishing. He loved all children and was good to everyone he knew.

Mike was preceded in death by a son, Braden Michael Hodge.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his parents, Nadine and Terry Keith Belcher of Odd;  his  children, Courtney Hodge Bailey of Montcalm,  Ryan Hodge of Montcalm, and Dustin Blankenship and his wife Taylor of Louisianna; wife, Audra "Ray" Blankenship of Virginia, step children Michael and Bobby Hoffman of Virginia; grandchildren,  Nova Bailey, Daelen Bailey, Paislee Blankenship, and Isaac, Isabella Grace Hoffman, Noah Hoffman, and  Baby Girl Hoffman; a brother Carlton P. Musick of Glen  Daniel; two sisters Billie Mae Goff of  Lester, and Dustie Marie Terry and husband Shawn  of MacArthur.  Several nieces,  nephews, and cousins who will cherish his memory  also  survive.

There will be a private visitation for family members only.
