Mike Clark

Michael "Mike" Clark, 60, of Pipestem, WV passed away on February 24, 2025. Mike was deeply loved and cared for by many, maintaining a special relationship with his former wife, Jenny Basham, and family until the very end.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Clark (Mike); stepsons, Aaron Basham (Jessica) and Jonathan Basham (Bria); grandchildren, Eli, Jaxon, Alexander, Jack, Jace, and Nicholai; brother, Jeffrey Clark (Alexa); and stepmother, Sandra Clark. Mike had a special bond with Billy Basham and Yvonne Collins, who always saw him as a son rather than just a son-in-law. Long-time friends and fishing buddies Randy Kidd and Ernie Perdue will also cherish his memory. While many friends and family deserve acknowledgment, space limits our tribute, but please know that you all played an important part in Mike's life, and that will never be forgotten.

Mike spent the last 25 years in the drilling business, a career he especially loved because he was able to work with family and friends. He ended his career at Douglas Explosives, where he was treated with dignity and respect. We hope Mike is on a beautiful stretch of water, with the sun shining and the fish biting.

A memorial service to Celebrate the Life of Michael Clark will be held at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley, WV on Saturday March 1, 2025 at 7:00 PM with Rev. Anthony Bailey officiating. A gathering of friends and family will be from 6:00 PM until service time at the funeral home on Saturday.
