Mona Irene "Norma" Honaker

Mona Irene "Norma" Honaker, age 81, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

She was born on April 29, 1944, to the late Roma and Cleo Pettry Taylor.  Norma loved her family deeply, and will always be remembered for her kind and joyful spirit. She led her family in a life of faith in Jesus. Norma was a proud member of Flat Branch Baptist Church. She was an employee of Rick's Supermarket at Glen Daniel, WV for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roma and Cleo Taylor; husband Freddie; twin girls, Mona May and Ruby Gay; a baby boy Donald Ray; a grandson Steven.

Those left  to cherish her memory are sons, David and wife Kim Honaker, and Brian and wife Lora Honaker; siblings, Ronnie Taylor, Ruby Booth, and Scottie and wife Effie Taylor; seven grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at Flat Branch Baptist Church at Arnett, WV on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Andy Davis, and Deacon James Cook  officiating. Burial will follow at the Taylor Family Cemetery at Arnett, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 AM until service time on Monday at the church.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
