Pamela Jean Smith

Pamela Jean Smith, age 60, of Sullivan Road, Glen Morgan, WV passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV following a long illness.

Born on May 15, 1964 in Frederick, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Norman Elwood and Mary Catherine Toms.

Mrs. Smith was a homemaker, and enjoyed taking care of her granddaughter. She loved reading, doing word puzzles, and gardening when health allowed.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her husband of  nearly 13 years, Kevin Smith; her children, Toney Tyler Jr. of Sullivan Road, Justin Wivell and wife Brittney of Maryland, and Carrie Wolf and husband Jonathan of Maryland;  special granddaughter, Iris Jean Tyler, along with other grandchildren; a sister Penny Whetzel and husband Steve of Maryland. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley, WV on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
