She was born on Dec 21,1950 in Charleston, WV to Albert and Zelma (Kincaid) Thomas.

Patty traveled throughout her younger years and had lived in many different states. Each one held a special place in her heart. Although she enjoyed the excitement of seeing the country, her greatest joy was having her 5 wonderful children. Family meant everything to her. Whether you called her wife, daughter, sister, mom, aunt, grandma, cousin or friend, she was always there at any given moment night or day. Her walls were filled with pictures of all the people who were very special to her.

Patty is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Zelma Thomas, brothers Jackie and James, and sisters Phyllis and Anna.

Left to carry on her memory are her husband of 37 years Charles Gross of Akron, OH, sister Kathy(Terry) Clouse of Pasco, WA, sister in law Lynn Thomas of Oak Hill WV, son Terry Lowery Jr of Grand Rapids, MI, daughter Miscella (Pat) Kelly also of Grand Rapids, MI, son Brian (Lisa) Lowery of Birmingham MI, son Daniel(Kelli) Lowery of Beckley, WV, Tamara (Allen) Woolwine of Pemberton WV, 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a very special cousin Debbie Kincaid (Keith) of Crab Orchard WV, and several nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to thank Shawna McKinney and Sharona Reed for the support and companionship they gave her these last few years.

She may not be here physically, but we all have precious memories with her and can feel her spirit when we think of her. She will be missed every day.
