Paulette Mcrae Riley

Paulette McRae Bowling Riley, age 78, of Beckley, WV passed away, Sunday March 31, 2024 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.

Born on November 11, 1945  in Beaver, she was the daughter of the late Emory Clyde Bowling and Bertha Blevins Bowling.

She spent an entire career in the medical field, having been a medical transcriptionist at area hospitals, and had managed various doctor's offices.

Mrs. Riley attended Faith Community Church. She loved being with family and going to the beach.

In addition to her parents, she was  preceded in death by her husband Henry Jerome Riley; siblings, Louise Bowling, Glenna Huffman and Nancy Bowling; nephew  Richard "Rick" Raines.

Survivors include two sons, Henry James Riley and wife Pamela, and Robert DeWayne Riley; a sister Patty Leighton of Roanoke, Virginia; special nieces Vicki Wills and husband Lloyd of Blue Ridge, VA, and Barbara Dawes and husband  Mark of Beckley; a special great niece Ashlie Dawes of Beckley.

Funeral services  will be held at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 11 AM with Pastor Sam Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV. Friends  may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the funeral home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
