Peggy Oraopel Hylton

Peggy Oraopel Hylton, age 92, of Caldwell, WV passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg, WV.

Born on August 2, 1932, in Beaver, WV,  she was the daughter of the late Dorsey Lee Foster and Nancy Wood Foster.

Mrs. Hylton was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She devoted herself to her sons and grandchildren and was an exceptional mother-in-law.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Don Hylton, and a sister Lucy Quesenberry.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her children, David M. Hylton of Ashland, Ky, Darrell G. Hylton and wife Molly of Ona, WV, and Gregory S. Hylton of Caldwell, WV; grandchildren, Hannah Eichberger (Greg), Joe Hylton (Meagan), Megan Huffman (Josh), Catie Hylton, and Garrison Hylton; great grandchildren, Sam, Sofi, Asher, and Abel Eichberger, Jaxon and Lucas Hylton and Jaden and Ava Huffman.

Mrs. Hylton is also survived by two sisters, Betty Epperly of Beckley, and Jan L. Foster Combs-Thurber of Jacksonville, FL. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside rites and burial will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Joshua Huffman officiating. There will be no visitation.
