Peggy Frances Smith

Peggy Frances Smith, 82, of Mount Hope, WV passed peacefully into Heaven  at 7:55 AM on Wednesday, July  23, 2025.

Those left to cherish her memory, include her husband of  62 years, Billy Joe Smith of Mount Hope, and daughter Donna Smith Wilson, also of Mount Hope. Granddaughter, Emily Wilson Dick (Michael), and great granddaughter, Abigail Musick and great grandson, Liam Dick.

She was blessed to see all of her family the week prior to her passing.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents Monroe and Edith Craven, and a sister Barbara Vitek.

A visitation will be held at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley, WV on Friday, July 25, 2025 from 6:00 PM until 8 PM, with a graveside rite and burial at Ward Cemetery, Backus Mountain, WV on Saturday, July  26, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Roger Fox will officiate.
