Phyllis Gail Pack Smith, age 80, of Midway, WV, passed away February 24, 2025 at White Sulphur Springs Center.
Born December 14, 1944, at Wevaco, she was the daughter of the late Orville Pack and Frances Venable Spicer.
She was a homemaker and a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul S. Smith Sr. brothers, Tommy Pack, Michael Bragg, Jim Bragg, and Albert Spicer Jr. Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Paul Jr. and wife Lisa of Prosperity, Barry and wife Kim of Midway, her only beloved grandson whom she loved so very much, Andrew and wife Katlyn of Prosperity, two beautiful great-granddaughters Delaney and Emersyn of Prosperity, sisters Mary Coble and Bobbie Jenkins of North Carolina and Terri Chambers of Tenneses. Brothers David Pack of Maryland and Jack Pack of Florida. Several nieces and nephews and many friends and neighbors.
She will be greatly missed by all, but we find comfort in knowing she is with our savior Jesus Christ.
The family would like to give a special thank you to all the staff at White Sulphur Springs Center for all the wonderful care they gave Phyllis for 7 years. Words cannot express enough thanks and appreciation for them all.
