Randall Dwayne Meadows, affectionately known as "Randy," suddenly passed away at his residence in Shady Spring on June 2nd, 2024, at 46.
Born on July 13, 1977, in Beckley, WV, Randy was the beloved son of Randy Meadows and Onita Meadows of Shady Spring, as well as Mary Louise Hall and Stephan Hall of Rochester, NY.
Randy was a true lover of the outdoors. He found joy in hunting, fishing, and cherishing moments with his family and friends. He particularly cherished the time spent with his adored grandchildren.
For many years, Randy dedicated himself to his work as a heavy equipment mechanic at Leslie Equipment, Rish, and Rock & Coal. His vibrant personality made him the heart and soul of any gathering, a role he cherished and was dearly loved for by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Hannah Sanford Meadows Jr., and maternal grandparents, Elva Bragg and Mary Bragg.
Randy's memory will forever be cherished by his children, Johanna Meadows (Clifford Cline) and Stephanie Meadows (Jack Stroble), and his grandsons, Dwayne Meadows, Nathaniel Cline, and Damon Cline. He leaves behind his dear grandmother, Grace Meadows, his parents, Randy Meadows and Onita Meadows, and Mary Louise Hall and Stephan Hall. Randy is also survived by his sister, Patricia Harvey (Troy Harvey); his nieces, Cassandra Farmer (Johnnie Farmer) and Eva Mae Collins (Charles Collins); special cousins Steve Bragg and Ryan Meadows; and cherished friends Lee Bolen and Billy Redden, along with numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, and uncles.
As we remember Randy, let us celebrate not only his vibrant life but also the profound impact he had on all who were fortunate enough to know him. His memory will forever be a beacon of light in our lives.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 3 PM with Rev. Rodney Allen officiating. Burial will follow at the Goodson Cemetery #1 at Bragg, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 1 PM until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Lee Bolen, Lee Bolen Jr., Steven Bragg, Ryan Meadows, Carl Bragg and Lee Cole. Grandsons, Dwayne Keith Meadows and Nathaniel Cline will serve as honorary pallbearers.
