Randall Alan Stover

Randall Alan Stover, age 57, of Crab Orchard, WV, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.

Born on April 16, 1967 in Beckley, he was the son of the late Ernest Lloyd Stover Sr. and Norma Jewell Catlett Stover.

Randy, as he was known by family members and friends, was a former coal miner and river guide. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mona Renee Hutteman and a brother Ernest Lloyd Stover Jr.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include a son, Randall Junior Stover and wife Sarah of Martinsburg, WV;   a brother Karrol Stover and his wife Stephanie of Mount Hope, WV; his life partner Melissa Smith of Mt. Tabor; grandchildren, Justin, Alex, Leo and Max.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service to Celebrate the Life of Randall Alan Stover will be held at  iHeart Church 294 Crossroads Dr. Mount Hope, WV on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 12:00 PM. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the family to help with unexpected expenses.
