Reta Church

Reta Faye Church, age 67, of Seaford, Delaware, formerly of Raleigh, WV, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024, in Seaford, Delaware.

Born on April 7,1957 at Streeter, WV, she was the daughter of the late Donald Wyatt Pack and Myrtle Ellen Lilly Pack.

Reta was a factory worker in Delaware, and was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Daniels, WV.  She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Reta was preceded in death by two brothers, Oran Pack and Lester Pack.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her children, Daniel Hopkins of Weston, WV, Anthony Hopkins of Fredericksburg, VA, and Garland "Glen" Church of Seaford, DE. Four sisters, Beatice Rowe of Missouri, Brenda Redden and husband Charley of Raleigh, WV, Retha Duncan-Armstrong of Coal City, WV, and Linda Bryant and husband Howard of Glen Morgan, WV. Four brothers, Harold Pack and wife B.J. of Shady Spring, WV.  Clayton Pack and wife Kathy of Piney View, WV., Roger Pack and wife Carolyn of Elgin, SC, and Donald Pack and wife Francine of Beckley. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Minister Dean Waddell officiating. Burial will follow at the Vest Cemetery at Streeter, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
