Rita Helen Robinson

Rita Helen Tabor Church Robinson, of Beckley, WV, was ushered in Heaven's Gates on Monday, September 1, 2025.

Rita was born July 30, 1935 in Mullens, West Virginia where she grew up and graduated from Mullens High  School. Rita was a member of and avid supporter of the Family Worship Center.

She  was passionate about serving God and Church attendance. Her favorite joys in life were attending church and spending time with family. She retired from Elder Beerman as a sales associate.

Rita was preceded in death by her late husband Rev. Gerald B. Church; and by parents Charley and Lilly Tabor; son David Church; brothers Jim and Bob Tabor.

Those left to cherish her memory and legacy are her husband Danny Robinson of Beckley; a son Phil Church of Talcott. Stepson Shane Robinson of Helen; a brother Eddie Allen of Beckley; grandchildren, Phillip Church of Beckley, Adam Church of Roanoke, VA., Daniel Church of Alexandria, Indiana, Larissa Mellnick of Roanoke, VA,  Nick Brown of Athens, GA,  Amber Ware of Teays Valley,  Autumn Smith of Teays Valley., Leslie Robinson, and Tyler Robinson, both of Daniels, and Cayden Robinson of Tampa, FL; 12 great grandchildren also survive.

There will be a viewing at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 8, 2025 at the Amos E. Quesenberry Peace Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley, with a service to begin at 12:00 PM. Pastor Luke Hodges will officiate. Rita will be laid to rest at 2:00 PM on Monday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV.
