Rob Altice

Rob Altice, age 53, of Stanaford, WV passed away at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley on Friday, March 29, 2024.

Born on January 14, 1971 in York, Pennsylvania, he was the son of  the late Lloyd Preston Altice Sr. and Linda Lou  Baker Altice.

Rob was a route truck driver for Home City Ice in Beckley. He was a member of Stanaford Missionary Baptist Church, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and taking care of his dogs.

In addition to his parents, Rob was preceded in death by a brother Richard Preston Alice Sr.; a step son James Matthew Smith; a niece Heather Altice.

Those survivors left to  cherish his memory include his wife of 23 years, Georgeanne  Wilmink Altice;  a step son Stephen  A. Smith of Stanaford; a sister Penny Hughes of Arkansas; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

A committal service will  be held at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum on Monday, April 8, 2024 at 11 AM with Pastor George Wood officiating. Burial will  follow at the cemetery. Friends may visit with the family thirty minutes prior  to the services on Monday, April 8, 2024 at the mausoleum.
