Robert  "Bob" McKibben, age 64, of Glade Springs, Daniels, WV passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022.

Born on February 23, 1958, in Monte Vista, Colorado, he was the son of Jeannie McKibben Warmack of Denver, Colorado and the late Jack McKibben.

Bob, as he was known by family and friends was a retired SWAT Commander with the Fort Collins Police Department in Fort Collins, Colorado. After retirement, he worked as a government contractor (overseeing security forces involving national security sites). He also served as a Cowboy Minister in Colorado for many years.

Bob enjoyed horses, was a certified farrier, enjoyed hunting, range shooting and blacksmithing. During his entire life, Bob participated in rodeos and roping. He was a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Police and the National Rifle Association. Bob was a member of the Emerald Society of Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his dogs, Johnny and Jake.

In addition to his mother, Jeannie Warmack, survivors include his wife, Machelle Ebarb McKibben; his children, Nikki Beachy and husband Mike of Oregon, Jo Jo McKibben and husband Brendan of Austin, Texas, Jordan Hughes and husband Tim of Wisconsin, Coby Henslee and wife Ashley of Arkansas, Ryan Henslee and wife Mallory of Daniels, and Brandon Henslee and wife Lisa of Colorado Spring, Colorado. Three brothers, Mike McKibben and wife Sue of Lone Tree, Colorado, Tim McKibben and wife Angela of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Tom McKibben of Deer Trail, Colorado. Thirteen grandchildren, many nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Dish Café in Daniels, WV on Saturday, April 16, 2022, from 3 PM until 530 PM.
