Robert Donald Watson

Robert Donald Watson, age 74, of Oak Hill, WV passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.

Born on December 8, 1950 in Redstar, WV, he was the son of the late Grover Watson and Louise Higginbotham Watson.

Mr. Watson had made his home in Baltimore, Maryland for many years, having been a co-owner and operator of an appliance store.

He enjoyed woodworking in his spare time.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Peggy Ann Watson; by siblings, Grover, Paul, Charles, Jimmy and Flora Mae.

Those survivors left  to cherish his memory include his children, Tammy Hensley of Oak Hill, with whom they shared their home, Silvilla DeVoss and husband Paul of Beckley, and Kenneth Woodall of Oak Hill; a brother Johnny Watson of Catonsville, Md, and a sister Betty Chiaverini and husband Dan of Canonsburg, Pa. Four granddaughters, Addie DeVoss, Pyper DeVoss, Kirstie Brown and Simone Reyes; three great grandchildren, Braelynn Brown, Brycen Brown, and Eliana Brown.

According to Mr. Watson's personal wishes, no services will be held.
