Roger "Johnny Bull" Halliwell

Roger "Johnny Bull" Halliwell, age 79, of Prosperity, WV passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at St. Mary's Hospital in Huntington, WV.

Born on Mother's Day, May 14, 1944 in Prosperity, he was the son of the late Fred Halliwell and Pink McGinnis Stewart Halliwell.

Johnny Bull was a carpenter by trade, and enjoyed music, and going for car rides.  Music was everything to him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Carrie Lou Boyko Halliwell on August 7, 2022, and by numerous brothers and sisters.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his children, John Paul Halliwell and wife Shannon of Beckley, Crystal June and her husband Michael Brown of Beckley, Vicki Elizabeth Willis and her husband Vincent of Prosperity, and Jason John Halliwell; a sister Mary Kasuba and husband William of Princewick.

He is also survived by his grandchildren who meant everything to him, Ali, Issac, Katelyn, Grace, Britnie, Kevin, Evelyn, Chase, Kiley Jo, and Logan. Numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends also survive.

A graveside rite will be held at a later date at the Prosperity Cemetery in Prosperity, WV.
