Roger Leslie Pack, 63, of Elgin, SC formerly of Raleigh, WV and Groveland, FL peacefully passed away while on his annual hunting trip to his farm in Sedan, KS on December 17, 2024 in Oklahoma City, OK.
Roger lived a very full life filled with love and laughter surrounded by amazing family and friends. He was known as a "jack of all trades", carpenter, mechanic, farmer & entrepreneur. Out of all these titles if you would have asked him what his favorite was he would have said Husband, Daddy, and Grandpa.
Roger worked hard his entire life and had a lot he was grateful for. He considered his greatest accomplishment his family.
Roger was born on June 8,1961 in Odd, WV, to Donald Wyatt Pack and Myrtle Ellen Lilly Pack, both of which proceed him in death. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by two brothers, Lester and Oran Pack, one sister, Reta Church and by two brothers by choice, Jeff Young and Bobby Sevy. I am sure they are fishing right now.
The survivors left behind to cherish his memory are his siblings Harold Pack (BJ) of Shady Springs, WV, Clayton Pack (Kathy) of Piney View, WV and Donald Pack (Francis) of Beckley, WV, Beatrice Rowe of Missouri, Brenda Redden (Charley) of Raleigh, WV, Retha Duncan- Armstrong of Coal City, WV, Linda Bryant (Howard)of Glen Morgan, WV,
Also still on earth celebrating every second we had with Roger is his wife of 41 years, Carolyn Sevy Pack, his true love, best friend and soulmate. When they said until death do us part they meant it, figuratively & literally. His baby girls, his 'favorite oldest' daughter, LeAnne Nicole Woods (Rick) and the reason for his first gray hairs, Leslie Pack Bedford (Steven) and his two sons, Toby Ray Pack, who was quite possibly the reason that his gray hair started to fall out and last but not least, his name sake, Roger Leslie Pack II.
From those four children came a slew of grandchildren, Faye Stein, Kellee Houston, Justin Bedford, Wyatt Bedford, Savannah Bedford, Madysun Woods, Natalee Bedford, Willow Woods, AbbaGale Woods, Marshall Woods and one great grand child, Jade Benton.
Roger's past times were hunting, fishing and watching the grandkids play. He was a retired beer enthusiast and loved sitting on the porch enjoying the greenery. He watched the 700 Club religiously every day and loved giving the grand kids a hard time. Roger truly was the life of the party everywhere he went. He was the kindest man to walk this earth and will be missed by so many.
