Roger Dail Trzicak, 81, of Harper WV passed away on April 17, 2026, at Lewis Gale Hospital in Salem, VA following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born on February 10, 1945, in Mount Hope WV, Roger was a man of strength, faith and quiet kindness with the most contagious smile. He retired from his career as a supervisor with the WV Parkway Authority and bravely served his country in the United States Army during the active combat years of 1968-1970 of the Vietnam War.
Roger was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord deeply. His faith guided his life and brought him peace and comfort. He found great joy in simple pleasures, working outdoors, restoring antique cars, piddling in his garage, sitting on the porch and most of all he loved his role as a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Roger was the backbone of his family, the protector and provider.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents Arnold Joe Trzicak and Cora Lee Rhodes Trzicak of Mount Hope WV and numerous other family members.
Those left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife of 60 years Audrey Voies Trzicak, a daughter Angela (Russell) Hinkle, a son Kevin (Sandy) Trzicak and three precious granddaughters, Mallory Mullins, Kylee and Sadie Trzicak. One sister Brenda Trzicak Holbert and two brothers Ronald and Ralph Trzicak, and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
A private family service will take place Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley, concluding with a committal service at 12:30 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Tim Brown officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in honor of Roger be made to Gracepointe Fellowship Church, Gideons International or Raleigh County Veterans and First Responders Museum attention Ron Hedrick PO Box 3165 Beckley, WV 25802.
