Ronal "Ron" Ray Massey, Jr.

Ronal (Ron) Ray Massey Jr, 60 of Wytheville, VA, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

He was born on May 5, 1966, in Cincinnati, OH.

Ron worked as a truck driver until his motorcycle accident in the early 2000's left him disabled. Since then, he has worked in the hospitality industry.

Ron enjoyed riding motorcycles and an assortment of music. He adored his grandchildren and had a very loving heart that will be dearly missed by his loved ones.

Ron was able to provide the greatest gift of life by being a donor and providing the opportunity for other families to make memories with their loved ones that may not have been possible otherwise.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents Ronal Ray Massey Sr. and Sharon Ann Reedy, as well as his daughter Amber Dawn Massey.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his son Jonathan Massey, his wife Allie Massey, and their children Owen and Ambry. Daughter Amanda Rutledge, her husband Andy Rutledge, and their children Noah and Sawyer. Sister Tracy Hammons and her children Shelby, Taylor, and Ethan.

Ron will be greatly missed and remembered by all who knew him.

There will be no formal funeral held at the request of the family.
