Ronald Schoolcraft

Ronald Lee Schoolcraft of Dayton, OH formerly of Beckley, WV passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026 following a short illness.

Ronald was born on July 18,1956 in Dayton, OH to his late parents, Denvil Carlos and Blanche Walk Schoolcraft.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Denvil "Bud" Schoolcraft and a sister, Theresa Schoolcraft.

Ronald was a former mechanic of the Raleigh County Sheriff's Department but relocated to his hometown and retired from Avis Rental, as a mechanic two weeks before he passed.

Those left to cherish his memory include a sister, Karen Haston and her husband, Edward of Moraine, OH, Gay Ellen Salzman of Cleveland, OH, Deanna Ball and her husband Terry of Wilmington, OH; sister in law, Cindy of Fairfield, OH and numerous nieces, nephews,  friends and family, also survive.

Per Ronald's wishes, there were no services and he was brought back to Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens to be laid to rest by his parents and sister, Theresa.
