Ronald Lee "Tom" Morton

Ronald  Lee "Tom" Morton, age 85, of Lanark, WV passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025 at his home.

Born on July 18, 1940 in  Grandview, he was the son of the late Ralph and Gertie Adkins Morton.

Tom was a former security guard and timberman. He enjoyed watching wrestling and the television show Gunsmoke.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Mae Morton, a daughter, Joy Brooks; a grandson Steven Morton; brothers Paul, Jim, Arlis, and Willard Morton. Sisters Nellie Redden, Lillian Pennington, and Flora Bell Morton.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his children, April Dawn Morton of Shady Spring, Darlene Morton of Fairdale, Randy Morton of Shady Spring, and Ronnie Morton of Mount Hope. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother John Morton of Grandview. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

A private burial for Tom will be held at Grandview Cemetery, Grandview, WV.
