Rose Marie Bolen

Rose  Marie Bolen age 84 of Glen White, WV passed away on August 26, 2024 in Spencer, North Carolina surrounded by her loving family.

Born on  April 18, 1940 in Cumberland, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Howard Martin Condry and Mildred Viney Condry.

Mrs. Bolen was a retired office manager for Beckley Podiatry.   She was a member of St. Francis  de Sales Catholic Church in Beckley. Mrs. Bolen was an avid reader, and enjoyed making ceramics.  She loved all animals, especially her dogs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Russell  Bolen; by  grandchildren, Justin Bolen, Rachael Bolen,  Krista Crouse and John Perdue; by brother  Walter Leo Condry.

Those survivors  left to cherish  her memory include her children;  Lawrence Bolen and wife Sherri of Spencer, NC, Michael Bolen and wife Deborah of Coal City, and Russell Bolen Jr. of  Soak Creek, WV.

Fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren also survived.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic in Beckley on Tuesday September 3, 2024 at noon with Rev. Father Jojan Joseph as the Celebrant. A Rite of Committal will follow at the Thompson Cemetery at Coal City, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the liturgy at the church. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
