Rosie Mae Lindsey

Rosie Mae Lindsey, age 78, of Mabscott, WV passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 in Fairmont, WV.

Born on June 15, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Harry Wilburn Smith and Mary Elizabeth Hodge Smith.

Mrs. Lindsey was a former Registered Nurse at Beckley Hospital. She was a member of the Glen White Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Astridge  Duane Lindsey, brothers and sisters, Mary Moore, Lucille Connell, Harry Smith, Wilburn Smith, Jimmy Smith, Bobby Smith, and Buster Smith.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her son, Michael Lindsey and wife Tabatha; grandson Azariah Lindsey; longtime friend, Connie Moody; a sister Betty Smith; nieces, Trina Smith, Melissa Barker, and Linda Stafford.

A funeral service will be held at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley, WV on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM with her cousin and pastor, Bishop Jesse A. Farley officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until service time on Monday at the funeral home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
