Roxanna "Roxie" Lynn Williams

Roxanna Lynn Williams, age 69, of Sandlick, WV passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2026 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.

Born on October 16, 1956 at Sandlick, WV, she was the daughter of the late James Richmond and Juanita Webb Richmond.

Roxie, as she was known her family and friends, was a former housekeeper. She had a love for family and friends, and enjoyed watching television and listening to music. Roxie was  always laughing and telling stories. She will  be greatly missed by family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Roxie was preceded in death by her husband Larry Williams; infant daughter Roxanna Williams; three brothers, Ederd, Jackie and Gregory, and by an infant sister Athaleen.

Those survivors  left to  cherish her memory include her son, Kevin Dean Williams and wife Renee of Sandlick; step son Larry Williams and wife Bobbie of Beckley; several grandchildren; brothers Jerry, Ira and Johnny and wife Teresa, all of Sandlick; a sister Alice Daniels of Sandlick; several nieces and nephews, and  several sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law.

Graveside rites and burial will be held at the McGinnis Cemetery at Sandlick, WV on Saturday, June 13, 2026  at 3:00 PM, with Rev. Dwayne Williams officiating.  Friends may visit with the family  at the cemetery thirty minutes prior to the services.
