Ruby Marie Adkins

Ruby Marie Adkins, age 88, of Beckley, WV passed away at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV on Saturday, March 29, 2025.

Born on August 24, 1936 at Sprague, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Adkins and Sadie Plumley Adkins.

Ruby formerly worked in insurance sales. She was of the Christian faith and enjoyed crafts and playing different musical instruments at various nursing homes.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Carlos and Elvin Adkins, and by a sister Gladys.

Survivors include a niece, Linda Adkins of Beckley, and a nephew Richard Adkins of Maryland.

Special friends, Patricia Basham and the entire Basham family, and Robert McClung.

A private graveside rite will be held at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley.
