S. Shane Smith

S. Shane Smith, age 66, of Shady Spring, WV passed away at CAMC Specialty Select Hospital in Charleston, WV on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

Born on May 2, 1958 in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of the late James M. Smith and Mildred Foley Smith.

Mr. Smith was a businessman, having owned and operated Triple S. Corporation.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and story telling with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife Pam Smith.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his daughter Kaitlin Moore and husband Steve of Shady Spring, and their daughter Jillian Moore; his son Zachary Shane Smith and wife Ashley, and their children Elyse Smith and Sawyer Shane Smith of Princeton, WV.

A sister, Shozette  Smith and her son Broden Smith of Newport, PA.

A service will be held to Celebrate the Life of S. Shane Smith on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel with Rev. Delmas Wolfe officiating. Entombment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at Prosperity, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
