Sandra Kaye Holliday

Sandra Kaye Holliday, age 79, of Beckley, WV passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV.

Born in Lester, WV on November 10, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Avery McGrady and Zelma East McGrady.

Mrs. Holliday was a former employee of K-Mart in Beckley, and was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, and loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Holliday also enjoyed fishing and camping, and taking trips with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Myra Hill; by brothers Dale McGrady, Roger McGrady and Daniel McGrady.

Those survivors left to cherish her wonderful memory include her husband of nearly 50 years, Thomas Owen Holliday; four children, Joshua  Holliday at home, Dennis Ward and wife Melissa of Beckley, Christy Ward of Talcott, and Susan Mills and husband Mike of Rainelle; two sisters, Carolyn Richardson and husband Jesse of Grandview, and Drema Chila of New Jersey; many grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Amos E. Quesenberry Peace Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley, WV on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 11 AM with Rev. Keith Manning officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10 AM until time of services on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial and Committal will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV.
