Sharon Louise Campbell

Sharon Louise Campbell of Crab Orchard, born on February 11, 1945, passed gently in her sleep on September 27, 2024.

She was born in Terry, WV, raised in Pemberton, graduated from Sophia High School, and lived in Beckley as an adult.

After high school, she went to Myrtle Beach, SC, working as a telephone operator. She worked various jobs, including holding the title as president of an insurance association affiliated with a bank in Washington, DC. She later returned to Beckley and retired from Jackie Withrow Hospital.

Sharon is survived by sisters: Patricia Campbell Blair of Meadow Bridge, Iris Campbell Lilly (Richard T.) of Coal City, and Norma Marshall of Crab Orchard; plus one niece and several nephews. She faithfully attended the Wesleyan Church in Beckley, WV.

A private service with committal for family members will be held at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 2 PM with Rev. David Lee and Fred Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV.

There will be no visitation.
