Sharon Laverne Long-Click, age 72, of Clear Creek, WV went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 8, 2026 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV.
Born on January 14, 1954 in Clear Creek, she was the daughter of Janet Taylor Long of Clear Creek, and the late James Long.
She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of the Clear Creek area.
Mrs. Click was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, John R. Click Jr.; father James Long; sister Sandra Long; grandson Timothy John "T.J." Click Trump.
Sharon, as she was known by family and friends, was a loving mother of three wonderful children. She was a care giver for elderly people, and enjoyed going to the beach with family and friends. She always tried to give everyone a chance.
Sharon will be deeply missed by her family and friends, and all those she came in contact. She was always trying to help anyone that needed it, and was always going out of her way to make sure everyone that needed anything had it, whether she had it or not.
Sharon leaves behind her mother, Janet Long; brother Rodger Long (Drema Taylor), sister Tammy Long; son James "Danny" Click, daughter Caresta (John Bragg), and son Michael Click (Tasha); grandchildren Kassie (Corey) Ward, Caleb (Alexis) Click, McKenzie Bragg, Emily Bragg, Bella Click, London Click, and Easton Click; great grandchildren Chloe Ward, Kennedi Ward, and Callum Ward.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Amos E. Quesenberry Peace Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley, WV on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Jerry Tyree officiating. Burial will follow at Stover Cemetery at Burrell Branch. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Sunday at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
