Sharon Sue Campbell of Crab Orchard, WV went to be with the Lord on August 25, 2026. 

Sue was born in McAlpin, WV on August 24, 1944.

She was the youngest of 15 children born to Ray and Vera McClaugherty Meadows.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 63 years, (Jim Campbell), son Jeffrey Campbell (Patty), daughter Tammy Toney (Jeff); grandchildren, Justin Campbell (Brittney), Natalie Barker (Nicholas), Madeline Fernatt (Austin), and Eric (Angela) Beane.

She also leaves behind six great grandchildren, Nora, Liam, Micah, Lyla, Remy and Nolan, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Graveside Rites and Burial will be conducted on Friday, August 28, 2026 at 12:00 PM, at the Woods Avenue Plateau Historic Cemetery, located on Woods Avenue in Oak Hill, WV. Pastor Norman Hamm and Pastor Gary Mills will be officiating. 

There will be no visitation. 

Pallbearers will be Jeff Campbell, Jeff Toney, Justin Campbell, Nicholas Barker and Austin Fernatt.
