A woman of deep faith, Shirley loved the Lord and was a devoted member of her church. Even when she was no longer able to attend in person, she faithfully joined online services. She found great joy in singing praises to her Lord and Savior and was proud to sing in the church choir. Her love for worship and fellowship was a defining part of her life.
Shirley also had a passion for gardening and found happiness in planting new and beautiful flowers each year. Her yard was always filled with vibrant colors and life, reflecting her nurturing and joyful spirit.
She shared a remarkable and loving bond with her husband of 39 years, Jan Lafferty, whom she loved dearly. Jan lovingly spoiled her every day, making sure she was always well cared for and never without anything she needed. They were inseparable and shared a deep, enduring love that was evident to everyone who knew them.
