Stacey Cook

Stacey Jack Cook Sr., age 89, of Mullens, WV, passed away at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV, on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.

Born on December 8, 1935 in Mullens, WV, he was the son of the late Basil Ellis Cook and Peggy Melinda Rose Cook.

Mr. Cook was a retired employee of the Wyoming County Board of Education, serving in the custodial department. He was a US Army Veteran, and enjoyed watching sports, especially being an avid fan of the West Virginia University Mountaineers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Carrie Cook, and by several brothers.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his son Stacey Jack Cook Jr. and wife Shelly of Mullens, WV.

Two granddaughters, Stephanie Cook and Samantha Cook, both of Mullens, WV.

A sister, Terrill Ann Marshall of Maryland, and a brother Danny Cook of Oklahoma.

A Memorial Service To Celebrate The Life Of Stacy Jack Cook Sr. will be held at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley, WV on Monday March 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Lewis Arnold officiating. Friends may visit with the family thirty minutes prior to the services on Monday at the funeral home.
