Stevie Ray Meadows

Stevie Ray Meadows, age 63, of Pluto Road, Shady Spring, WV passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.

Born on November 20, 1962 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of Nellie Kincaid Meadows of Shady Spring, WV, and the late Jimmie Lee Meadows.

Stevie, as he was known by his family and friends, was a graduate of Shady Spring High, and a graduate of West Virginia Institute of Technology. Stevie was of the Protestant faith, and attended St. Francis deSales Catholic Church with his family.

Stevie enjoyed farming, deer hunting and trout fishing in his spare time. He was a retired employee of AEP, with 37 years of service as an engineer.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 37 years, Tammy O'Neal Meadows; his three sons, Michael James Meadows and wife Deanna of Harpers Ferry, WV, twins Christopher Meadows and David Meadows, both of Shady Spring; grandchildren, Lucas and Mason Meadows of Harpers Ferry; a sister Sandra Dunbar and husband Dennis of Cross Lanes. Two nephews, Samuel and Matthew Dunbar also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted to Celebrate The Life Of Stevie Ray Meadows at the Amos E. Quesenberry Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home at Shady Spring, WV on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home on Thursday. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV.
