Tara Nicole Wills

Tara Nicole Wills, 41, of Coal City, West Virginia, passed away on March 9, 2026.

Born on November 29, 1984, Tara was known for her caring heart, strong spirit, and the love she shared with those around her. She cherished time with her family and friends and will be remembered for the kindness and warmth she brought into the lives of others.

Tara's greatest joy in life was being a mother. She is survived by her beloved children, Riley Adkins, Kylie Lester, and Levi Lester.

She is also survived by her mother, Angela Godfrey, and her father, Mark Wills and his wife Debbie; her sister, Amy Lilly, and Amy's son, Jacob Neal; her brother, Chris Wills and his wife Nicole Wills—and their children; her grandmother, Shirley Swanger; her fiancé, James Stewart, and his mother Doreen Stewart; and the grandparents of her children, Pam and Josh Stover.

She was preceded in death by Bob Godfrey and her grandparents, Cecil and Elaine Wills.

Tara will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

The family will hold a private memorial gathering at a later date.
