Terry Shackelford

Terry Lee Shackelford, age 68, of Fairmont, WV, formerly of Beckley, WV, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Hidden Valley Nursing Center in Oak Hill, WV.

Born on August 5, 1956 in  Beckley, she was the daughter of the late James  Arnold Asbury and Joyce Ann Mann Asbury.

Mrs. Shackelford  was a former accountant at Beckley Newspapers. She enjoyed music and movies. Mrs. Shackelford was an  avid reader, and loved gardening house plants, arts and crafts, and her pets.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Kelly Shackelford III.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her children, Tessa Shackelford and husband Josh Caputo of Fairmont, and  Ian Williams and husband Frank of Fayetteville.

A brother, James Henry "Hank" Asbury and  wife Jackie of Pottstown, PA. Three grandchildren Erin Abner, Kaiden Williams, and Millie Caputo; a great grandson Kaleb McDowell.

According to Mrs. Shackelford's personal wishes, no services will be held.
