Theresa Lynne Scarbro

Theresa Lynne Scarbro, age 65, of Beckley, WV formerly of Arnett, WV passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024 at CAMC Select Specialty Hospital in Charleston, WV.

Born on January 30, 1959 in Charleston, she was the daughter of the late Charles  Pettry and Greta August Pettry Quarles.

Mrs. Scarbro was a homemaker, and a   member of Sundial Assembly of  God.  She enjoyed cleaning and collecting what-not items. Mrs. Scarbro also enjoyed decorating with Home Interior Products.

In addition to her parents, she was  preceded in death by her husband Robert Scarbro;  a son, Christopher Adam "Beetle Juice" Scarbro.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Bobbi Kay Williams; four brothers, Charles Kent Pettry and wife Melissa of Shady Spring, Billy Joe Pettry and wife Nanette of Sundial, Wendell Pettry and wife Dezell of Horse Creek, and John Pettry and wife Leslie of Fairdale; a sister, Tina Williams of Shady Spring;  two grandchildren Jason Williams of Beckley and Jaden Williams of Fairdale. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside rites and burial will be held at the Scarbro Cemetery at Rock Creek, WV at 11 AM on Friday, June 7,  2024 with Rev. Benny Turner and his wife Debbie officiating. Friends may gather with the family at the cemetery at 10:45 AM on Friday.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
