Thomas Chambers

Thomas Henry Chambers, 58 years old, of Ghent, West Virginia, passed away peacefully following a long illness on December 31, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Chambers, and his loving stepfather, Kenneth Lewis.

He is survived by his beloved mother, Shirley Lewis, and sisters, Ruth Link and husband, Mark, and Kerry Vetrone and husband, Steve.

During his life, Tom had many wonderful experiences, was an outstanding athlete and played college football.

While West Virginia was always home, Tom lived in Charlotte, North Carolina for many years working as a supervisor for a paving company. He returned to West Virginia many years ago to be near his mother and father.

Tom loved outdoor activities, spending time with friends, and all Mountaineer sports.

Tom's family would like to extend sincere gratitude to the kind staff at Pineview Rehabilitation Center in Harrisville, West Virginia, who cared for him so lovingly during his illness and final days.
