Timothy James Copley

Timothy James Copley, 46, a resident of Daniels, WV passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 24, 2023 following a long illness.

Born December 14, 1977 in Bluefield, WV, Tim was the son of Franklin S. Copley of Daniels, WV, and the late Judith A. Lilly Copley of Daniels.

Tim was a member of Gospel Chapel in Daniels, WV, and loved listening to our church services.

Tim also loved sports and participated in several sporting events as in baseball, football, power lifting and wrestling in his high school years.

Tim will be missed by family and friends, and will be forever in our hearts.  Those left to cherish his memory other than his father, include, a son, Damon Copley of Logan, WV, Tim's only brother, Christopher G. Copley and family in Camden, SC., and we want to extend a very special thank you to Ashley Scott of Wytheville, VA, for her loving care and support for Tim.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Friday, January 5, 2024 at noon with Pastor Luke Richmond officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 10 AM until service time on Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends of the church.
