Timothy "Tim" Lee Morris

Timothy Lee Morris age 60 of Shady Spring, WV passed away at Select Specialty Hospital in Charleston, WV on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

Born in Beckley, he was the son of late Herbert Swanson Morris and Alma Grace Durham.

Tim, as he was known by family and friends, was a former Correctional Officer at Southern Regional Jail, and also served 12 years in the Navy.

Tim, was a sport guy he played sports throughout all of his childhood and helped his sons get involved in sports.

In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by a sister Nancy St. Clair.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his loving companion and mother of his sons, Amy Beth Hatfield of Shady Spring; two sons Bryson Hatfield and Levi Hatfield, both of Shady Spring. Brothers, Doug Morris and wife Nancy of NC, and Gary Morris and wife Terri of Summersville, WV.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Amos E. Quesenberry Funeral Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Shady Spring, WV on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 6:00 PM, with Pastor Earl Brewer officiating. Friends may visit with the family thirty minutes prior to the services at the funeral home.
