Timothy Joseph Woolwine

T imothy Joseph Woolwine of Oak Hill, WV gained his heavenly wings on July 23, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

He passed away at home surrounded by his loving wife Robin and his family by his side.

Born December 18, 1960, at Mead, WV, he was the son of the late Ernest and Mildred Woolwine of Coal City, WV.

He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy (TJ) Woolwine II.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 35 years, Robin; granddaughters, Nevaeh, Bryleigh, Piper and Jordan. Daughters-in-law, Ashley Woolwine and Somer Bragg. Siblings, Carolyn Gosnell of Pemberton, WV, Bucky and Linda Woolwine of Coal City, WV, Frankie Woolwine of Coal City, WV, Alice and Tommy Deweese of Midway, WV, Randall and Rita Woolwine of Lexington, NC, Kenny and Tammy Woolwine of King, NC, Nancy and Ronnie Sturgill of Beaver, WV, Eugene and Leslie Woolwine of Pemberton, WV, Rosalyn and Allen Sturgill, Beaver, WV, Tina and Devon Lane of Mullens, WV. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Timothy was the manager of Dunman Floral Supply in Oak Hill for 35 years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved being outdoors working in his yard.

Funeral services will be held at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at 2 PM with Kenny Woolwine officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 12 PM until service time at the funeral home on Sunday.

Pallbearers will be Bucky Woolwine, Frankie Woolwine, Randall Woolwine, Eugene Woolwine, Allen Woolwine and Lee Woolwine.
