Ureal Allen

Ureal Allen, age 74, of  Fairdale, WV passed away at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

Born on May 30, 1949 in Fairdale, he was the son of the late Edgar  Allen and Lora Williams Allen.

Mr. Allen retired in 2006 from the Raleigh County Board of Education as a custodian, last working at Liberty High School.

He was a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam Conflict. Mr. Allen enjoyed  hunting, and taking care of his lawn and flowers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Willard and Ernest Allen, and one grandchild.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife of 50 years; Patricia Lyons Allen; a son Neal Allen of Fairdale. As well as a special daughter, Kimberly Wilds, husband Kyle and their family. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

According to Mr.  Allen's personal wishes, no  services will be held.
