Victoria Lynn Johnson

Victoria Lynn Johnson, age 35, of Ghent, WV passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

Born on June 4, 1990 in Beckley, WV she was the beloved daughter of Debra Mills of Ghent, WV and James Johnson of Amigo, WV.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Clay Gaston.

Victoria is survived by her parents, two cherished daughters, Morgan Johnson (16) and Aubree Lynn (5); and her grandson, Clay Brian Gaston. She is also survived by her sister, Angie and wife Donna Kincaid, along with a niece, Alicia Farmer.

A 2008 graduate of Shady Spring High School, Victoria was known for her artistic spirit. She loved to draw and paint, proudly showcasing her work in local art shows. She was also honored to participate in the Miss West Virginia Teen Pageant in 2008, an experience that reflected her confidence.

Victoria lived a life full of adventure and heart. She enjoyed 4-wheeling, horseback riding, and spending long summer days camping with family along the river. Above all, she loved her children and family with unmatched fierceness and devotion. Her kindness, openness and big-hearted nature left a lasting impact on everyone she met.

She was deeply cherished not only by those here in West Virginia, but also by her village of friends in North Carolina, who loved her like family. Victoria's presence will be profoundly missed by all who were blessed to know her.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate The Life Of Victoria Lynn Johnson will be held at the Amos E. Quesenberry Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home at Shady Spring, WV on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Hobert Mills officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Thursday at the funeral home.
