Vincent Delano Daniel

Vincent Delano Daniel age 91 of Beckley, WV passed away Tuesday October 22, 2024 at his home following  a  long illness.

Born on August 7, 1933 in Mabscott, he was the son of the late Vincent C. Daniel and Glady N. Covey Daniel.

Mr.  Daniel was a US Marine Corp Veteran, and was a member of Mabscott Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, a member of the choir, and loved to ring the church bell.  He served as part of the men's visitation group to nursing homes in the area.  Mr. Daniel was saved and baptized on April 22, 1966. He had worked many years for Meadow Gold Dairy  as a route salesman.

In addition  to his parents,  Mr. Daniel was preceded by his wife Alice G. Daniel;  by sisters Billie Petitt, Barbara  Phillips and Aquilla Bowman; by brothers Jim, Don, and Bob Daniel.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his sons, Charles   "Chuck" Vincent  Daniel  and wife Carolyn of  Hurricane, and Thomas  "Tom" Dale Daniel and wife Tracy of Verona, Virginia; a brother Harold Daniel of Beckley; a sister-in-law Barbara "Deanie" Daniel of Beckley.

Grandchildren, Jennifer (Drew) Garnes of Seminole, Florida, Tyler (Courtney) Daniel of Hurricane, WV, Lauren Nash of Virginia, and Michael Glass of Staunton, Virginia;  great grandchildren, Jordan and Logan Garnes, Ezekiel "Zeke" Daniel, Oaklynn Daniel and Grayson Nash.

Lifelong friends, John and Sally Ellison also survive.  Special thanks go to  Jerry and Brenda Willingham, neighbors, who provided daily care.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Saturday November 2, 2024 at 1 PM with Pastor Marty Stalnaker and Pastor Grant Petitt Jr. officiating. Entombment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mauseleum at Prosperity.  Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the funeral home.  Pallbearers  Tyler Daniel,  Drew Garnes,  Steve Phillips, Bobby Lee Daniel, Jordan Garnes  and Logan Garnes.
