Virginia Ruth Noel

Mrs. Virginia Ruth Noel, age 93, of Beckley, WV passed away at Hilltop Center on Friday January 5, 2024.

Virginia was born May 26, 1930 in Beaver, WV to the late Raymond and Blanche Meador.

She was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Noel, her son Rodney Noel, her sister Lula Brooks, her grandson, David Daniel and her granddaughter Angela Dawn Noel.

She is survived by sons, Terry Noel and wife Lynn of Elgin, South Carolina, and Douglas Noel and wife Janet of Daniels, West Virginia; her daughter Rhonda Myler and husband Dean of Clarksville, Tennessee, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.

Virginia graduated from Shady Spring High School in 1948. She attended Beaver First Baptist Church, and was very appreciative of her church family there.  She worked numerous jobs during her lifetime and will be remembered as a very active and independent lady. She loved music and dancing at the Old School Music Hall when she was able. She will certainly be missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 1 PM with Pastor Steve Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
