Wanda Sue Mills

Wanda Sue Mills, age 73, of Shady Spring, WV went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 3, 2025.

Born on January 22, 1952 in Beckley,  WV, she was the daughter of the late William Francis Patton and Helen Frances Patton.

Mrs. Mills was a member of New Life Ministries and Fellowship at Crab Orchard, WV, and was a former CNA and Pharmacy Technician. She loved all children, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed clothing and being stylish.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Dawn Mills; sister Connie McGraw, and a brother Dale Patton.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her husband of 55 years, Hobert Mills; three children, Timothy Mills of Shady Spring, Micah Mills and wife Charman of Dobson, NC, and Joshua Mills and wife Danielle of Sophia; nine grandchildren, Jessica, Austin, Caleb, Kaitlyn, Dakota, Wyatt, Bryson, Ace and Quinn; great grandchildren, Paisley, Ryleigh, Maeve, Colter, and Riggin; a brother Eric Patton of Nashville, TN; two sisters, Lois Mills and husband Gary of  Beckley, and Linda Milam of Prosperity. Several nieces and nephews also  survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Amos E. Quesenberry Peace Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley, WV on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Roger Tolliver officiating, assisted by her devoted husband, Preacher Hobert Mills officiating. Singing will be provided by Karen Buckland, singing the Goodness of God and Celebrate Me Home. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum in Beckley, WV.  Friends  may visit with the family one hour prior to services  on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Her sons and grandsons will honor her by serving as pallbearers.
