Warren Burkhart

Warren Burkhart of Stanaford, WV passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on July 16, 2024.

He was the son of the late Theodore and Frona Burkhart of Chicago, IL.

In addition to his parents, those preceding him in death are two brothers Mike and Star Burkhart; a sister Judy Burkhart.

Warren proudly served his country in the US Army, where he was in the 82nd. Airborne and was a Green  Beret. He was also a coal miner for many years.

Warren is survived by his wife, Barbara; three children Robin Smith (Jerry) of Sissonville, Eric Burkhart  of Stanaford, and Amanda Burkhart of Beckley. Eight grandchildren, Bobby Shawver (Jinky), Kelsey Smith (Alex), Madison Smith  (Gage), Emily Smith, Nicholas Harvey, Jakeb Harvey, Kensley Maynard, and Ryleigh Sturgiss; extended  grandchildren, Cataleya, Ackiesha, and Guiley. Three sisters, Linda  Rowland, Lynnette Burkhart, Debbie Guillen, and  many other family and friends.
