Willard Edward Pritchett Jr., 73, of Beaver, West Virginia, passed away on January 22, 2026.
Born in Mullens, West Virginia, Willard was a man known for his kind heart and his willingness to help anyone in need. He would do anything for anyone, and those who knew him knew they could always count on him. That generosity defined his life.
Willard retired from Elk Run Coal Company, where he worked for many years as Chief Electrician. He was proud of his work and respected for his knowledge, dedication, and strong work ethic.
Above all else, Willard loved his family—truly and deeply. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother whose love and presence will be missed beyond words.
He is survived by his loving wife, Meredith Pritchett; his son, Willard Edward Pritchett III, his wife Kristen, and their children Skylar and Megan; his daughter, Amy Pritchett-Smith, and her children Trevor Pritchett and Mercedes Smith; and his siblings, Colton Pritchett, Roger Pritchett, and William Pritchett.
Memorial services will be held at the Amos E. Quesenberry Peace Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley, WV on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 4 PM. Visitation for family will begin at 2 PM with visitation for friends beginning at 3 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
